Hello!
This is my very first blog entry. Welcome! I intend to use this blog to showcase some of my photography & digital scrapbook projects. I have 3 beautiful, miraculous babies and my passion is taking photos of them.
Evan and Aidan are our In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) with Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) miracles. In January 2004, we were given < a 1% chance of ever conceiving naturally. We had one failed IUI cycle, moved immediately on to IVF/ICSI and conceived our precious twin boys on the first try.
Our twins had a rough start right from the beginning. I started with pre-term labor at 23 weeks, was hospitalized for 3 weeks from week 25 through week 28, and ultimated delivered Evan and Aidan via emergency c-section at 31 weeks (9 weeks early). They spent nearly 6 weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). They are now 2 1/2 years old and as healthy as can be. They are developmentally on track for kids their age, which is awesome for preemies!
We knew we wanted to try to conceive again, and planned to meet with our Reproductive Endocrinologist on January 11, 2006; however, I surprisingly turned up pregnancy in December 2005 NATURALLY! What a surprise. Our precious baby girl was born on August 22, 2006.
Our lives couldn't be better!
My hobby ~ taking pictures of my kids. I love it. I would love nothing more than to quit my full time job as a financial analyst in order to stay home full time with my children and take pictures part time of other people's kids. It's my passion. But, for now ~ until I can talk my dad into going in on some serious equipment with me ~ I will continue taking pictures of the 3 most beautiful children in the world... MY OWN!
