Caitlin was such a sweet girl - so mild mannered with a lot of personality and gorgeous eyes. I think I get the kids with the most gorgeous eyes to photograph. ;)

My nephews

These are my nephews - we did a little photo shoot with them to get some images of Carson particularly. 18 months old is a TOUGH age. :)

Mother/Daughter Session

Oh my, this was the most exciting photo session I have ever had. This mom and her 3 beautiful daughters were so much fun. I am so excited to share these!

My pretty girl, who is ALMOST 1

It's hard to believe Izabella is almost 1. I can't get over how fast the past few years have gone. Izabella has been walking for a few weeks now, and has really mastered it recently. She walks everywhere. And she is saying so many words. It's hard to believe she communicates so well, considering our boys didn't talk until 18 mo +. She says, "Eyes" and points to our eyes. She says "Juice" when she wants a drink of the boys' sippy cup. She says "Up" and holds her arms up for me to pick her up. And she also says "Mama, Dadda, Bye Bye, Uh Oh, Duck, No No." It's so adorable to watch her. She is our little miss determined and miss independent.

I took her 1st birthday portraits over the weekend. I just need to PP them.

Update on me

Things have been so hectic these days. I can't seem to find the time to keep up with my Project 365 group anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am still taking pictures. Lots of pictures. I just haven't had the time to dedicate to the weekly themes.

I have been scheduled every weekend taking children's portraits from July - September. Every weekend I have something going on. Word of mouth has traveled fast, and my rates are cheap considering I am trying to build my portfolio. (Honestly, the last 2 sessions have been pro bono). I'm glad I a doing them, as I have learned so much just from those 2 session. I decided that as of mid-August, I am no longer accepting pro-bono shoots. My rates are VERY cheap, though. I have a package for $40 with no sitting fee. I need to weed out those who wouldn't be interested unless they are free, as I am feeling overwhelmed with the lack of time I seem to have for myself these days.

Weekends are spend shooting pictures. Evenings (all week) are spent post processing those photos. It's tough. I love doing it, but it's hard to keep up somedays.
